Katja Foreman-Braunschweig is the Communications Associate for Audubon Great Lakes, where she supports communications efforts and develops high-quality content to raise awareness of conservation, advocacy, and engagement initiatives. Her work helps advance Audubon’s mission to protect birds and the places they need across the Great Lakes region.
Previously, Foreman-Braunschweig served as a Communications Assistant at the University of Michigan College of Engineering and as an Intern with Keep Growing Detroit. She is a graduate of the University of Michigan, where she earned dual degrees in communications and environmental studies. While there, she supported the School for Environment and Sustainability and served as a Project Lead for Planet Blue Student Leaders, encouraging students to adopt sustainable practices.
Passionate about conservation, Foreman-Braunschweig is dedicated to uplifting this work through impactful storytelling.
