Public lands provide ideal habitat for birds and other wildlife, but they need our help! You’re invited to join Audubon Great Lakes, Muskegon County Nature Club, and Owashtanong Islands Audubon Society for Grand Haven Birds and Brews, a free happy-hour* style event where you’ll learn about Michigan birds and opportunities to work together to protect public lands – all while enjoying a complimentary drink on us!

Despite their benefits for recreation and refuge—providing ideal habitat for birds and other wildlife—the survival of public lands is under threat in a time when they are more important than ever. This is particularly true in Michigan, where the conservation of public lands is at a crossroads. During the event, you’ll hear from Audubon chapter leaders and experts about the MI Birds program, threats facing Michigan’s birds and public lands, and steps we can take to ensure a stronger future for birds and communities.

You’ll have the opportunity to test your bird brain during a game of bird-themed trivia and a chance to win some spectacular door prizes, including a pair of Nikon binoculars, a bird guide, and more!

Space is limited – register today!
