Teri (Ana Teresa) Valenzuela is the Stewardship Program Associate for Audubon Great Lakes in Chicago, IL. After building experience in executive recruiting and administration, Teri launched her career in conservation through roles at Lincoln Park Zoo, Shedd Aquarium, and Audubon. In her current role, Teri manages the recruitment, program logistics, and execution of Audubon’s Restoration Internship program. Teri also advances Audubon’s outreach and stewardship efforts by co-developing stewardship, engagement and volunteer initiatives across Cook County. Teri has a background in wildlife and domestic animal care, environmental education, and received a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Biology from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota in Winona, MN.
