Servando Moreno manages the recruitment, program logistics, and execution of Audubon’s Restoration Internship program.

Moreno joined Audubon Great Lakes in 2020 as the Stewardship Program Associate for Chicago, IL. His passion for the environment began when he became involved in a project to analyze the Superfund site in his hometown, DePue, IL. Moreno started his career with Audubon Great Lakes as a habitat restoration intern in 2018.

Prior to Audubon, Moreno was the Site Manager at Windy City Harvest, supervising maintenance of a 1-acre youth program site with a variety of crops creating new processes for sustainable planting and harvest schedules.

Servando was a first-generation college student and went on to graduate from Loyola University Chicago with a BS in Environmental Science.
