Kay Rossiter is a current member of the Audubon Great Lakes Advisory Board. She is an avid birder and credits Friday morning birds walks at Skokie Lagoons with teaching her how to bird by sight and sound. She is a bluebird monitor at Ryerson Nature Center, plus a member of the Evanston North Shore Bird Club and the Leelanau Conservancy in Michigan where she has a summer home. She has served on the governing boards of local community organizations such as the PTO, Glencoe Human Relations Committee, Glencoe Garden Club, North Shore Choral Society and is current chair of her church’s LGBTQ+ initiative. Kay also enjoys hiking, kayaking, cross-country skiing and has even had some luck fly-fishing when she isn’t looking at birds. Kay lives in Glencoe, IL with her husband Pete
