Dean Fischer

Chairman, Audubon Great Lakes Board of Advisors

Dean Fischer is Chairman Emeritus of West Monroe Partners, a Chicago based business and technology consultancy he co-founded in 2002. He also served as a Partner at Arthur Andersen during his 23-year tenure with that firm. Dean has been the Chairman of the Audubon Great Lakes Board of Advisors since 2014, helping grow the office and lead the vision of Audubon Great Lakes’ work during his time with the board. Dean has also served on the National Audubon Society Board.

In addition to serving Audubon, Dean served on the National Board of the Student Conservation Association for seven years, including a three-year term as its chairman. Dean also served on the board of Openlands, a Chicago based conservation non-profit for 4 years. Most recently, Dean has been working with Senator Durbin’s office on a proposed revitalization of the Civilian Conservation Corp.

Dean lives in Glen Ellyn with his wife Jenny.
