Chrysanthi Rausch

Educator and Volunteer Coordinator, Grange Insurance Audubon Center

Chrysanthi Rausch holds a Bachelor's in Environmental Science and  graduated with honors with her Masters in Environmental Education from Slippery Rock University.  She was raised in Dayton but moved away and spent some time in South Carolina and Georgia before moving to Columbus. While living in Fort Jackson, South Carolina, she had the opportunity to work with their Wildlife Branch's Red-cockaded Woodpecker habitat restoration project. It was there that she discovered she had the passion required to teach young adults and children. 

After moving back to Ohio she completed an internship with The Nature Conservancy in Dublin and had the opportunity to lead special education events and volunteer projects. Before becoming hired on as an educator in 2016  she volunteered with the center consistently since 2012, she considers the center her second home. 

She is also a certified yoga and Tai Chi instructor. When she’s not at the Audubon Center or out birding you’ll find her enjoying time her with baby daughter, husband, and three dogs.
